Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of Swiss-born hotelier Reto Moser as General Manager of The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel. The high-profile appointment comes ahead of the property’s highly anticipated opening in mid-2027, perfectly timed to welcome the glamorous Swiss summer season.
Nestled in the breathtaking heart of the Swiss Alps, the iconic property is undergoing an extensive, top-tier transformation to seamlessly blend the brand’s world-renowned personalised service with the rich heritage of one of Gstaad’s most historic landmarks.
A Homecoming for a Veteran Luxury Hotelier
Moser brings over two decades of prestigious international luxury hospitality experience spanning Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He first joined the Four Seasons family in Provence in 2004, later honing his expertise in premium food and beverage operations in Bangkok and Koh Samui before advancing into senior leadership roles across Cairo, Moscow, and Dubai.
For Moser, leading this specific launch represents a profound personal and professional milestone.
“Being born and raised in Switzerland, Gstaad has always been very close to my heart,” says Moser. “Returning here to open this iconic property is both deeply meaningful and a true honour. We’re thrilled to introduce Four Seasons to this exceptional destination and to share the genuine warmth of Alpine hospitality.”
A Reimagined 1910 Landmark
Originally opened in 1910 as Gstaad’s very first five-star hotel, the legendary property is being fully masterminded by Squircle Capital. The ambitious architectural project is led by the acclaimed French interior designer Joseph Dirand, who is celebrated globally for his ability to infuse clean, contemporary minimalist luxury into heritage structures.
The reimagined hotel will feature 75 ultra-luxury rooms and suites, alongside an exclusive collection of majestic Penthouse Residences. Positioned just a brief, scenic stroll from the upscale boutiques, artisan food shops, and Michelin-starred dining of the famed Gstaad Promenade, the property will serve as a discreet, sophisticated sanctuary for cosmopolitan lifestyle travellers.
A New Epicentre for Gastronomy and Wellness
The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel is poised to elevate the culinary and wellness landscape of the Swiss Alps with an array of premium, curated spaces:
