IHG Hotels & Resorts has officially marked a landmark achievement in the hospitality sector, celebrating an extensive tally of 53 properties recognized in the 2026 MICHELIN Key selection. Spanning five distinctive brands within its Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, the prestigious accolades highlight the world’s most outstanding hotels and exceptional guest experiences across global gateway destinations.
Portfolio-Wide Excellence Across Five Flagship Brands
The 2026 selections reflect the remarkable breadth and momentum of IHG’s luxury collection, which now encompasses more than 600 hotels worldwide. The recognized properties span a diverse array of wellness sanctuaries, urban landmarks, and resort destinations under five major brands:
-
Six Senses: Leading the charge with multiple distinctions, including new entries and elevated tiers.
-
InterContinental: Honored across iconic international properties from Phuket to Paris and Osaka.
-
Regent: Showcasing ultra-luxury excellence in locations like Santa Monica, Phu Quoc, and Montenegro.
-
Kimpton: Celebrating boutique lifestyle distinction in cultural hubs across Asia and Europe.
-
Vignette Collection: Highlighting unique character and independent charm in Budapest and the Dominican Republic.
Standout Achievements: Six Senses London and Zighy Bay
Among this year’s most notable highlights, Six Senses London earned its very first MICHELIN Key following its highly anticipated opening earlier this year. This milestone marks a triumphant entry for the brand as its very first UK property and newest urban sanctuary.
Meanwhile, in the Middle East, Six Senses Zighy Bay was elevated to the prestigious Two MICHELIN Key distinction, joining an elite group of properties recognized for extraordinary design, service, and destination immersion.
A Commitment to Exceptional Hospitality
Commenting on the global recognition, Tom Rowntree, Vice President of Luxury & Lifestyle Brands at IHG Hotels & Resorts, shared:
“We are honoured to see so many of our properties recognised in the 2026 MICHELIN Key selection. These distinctions reflect the care and commitment of our teams around the world, who create exceptional experiences for guests every day. We are delighted to see so many hotels being recognised again this year, as well as our latest openings, such as Six Senses London.”
Ultimately, this extensive recognition underscores IHG’s rapid ascent as a powerhouse in luxury hospitality, seamlessly blending world-class design, transformative wellness, and deeply personalized service across its growing global footprint.
