The Langham Hospitality Group has announced a significant reinforcement of its executive team with the appointment of Josh Littman as Head of Development for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Based in London, Littman will be instrumental in driving the group’s expansion strategy, focusing on securing new hotel and branded residence opportunities for its diverse portfolio, including The Langham Hotels & Resorts, Cordis Hotels & Resorts, Eaton, and Ying’nFlo.

A Vision for Continued Expansion

This appointment comes at a pivotal time for the group, following the successful introduction of landmark properties such as The Langham, Venice, and the highly anticipated The Langham, Diriyah. By positioning a dedicated development lead in London, the group underscores its commitment to scaling its presence across key EMEA markets, ensuring its luxury and lifestyle brands reach new, high-demand destinations.

Industry Expertise

Littman brings over two decades of robust experience in hospitality development, mixed-use property planning, and investment advisory to his new role. Before joining Langham Hospitality Group, he held the position of Vice President of Development, EMEA for Starwood Capital Group, where he led growth strategies for prestigious lifestyle brands such as Baccarat Hotels, 1 Hotels, and Treehouse Hotels.

His career also includes senior roles at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos, alongside strategic advisory work with AECOM Economics (formerly Economics Research Associates). This deep-rooted expertise in feasibility, property financing, and global development strategy positions Littman to effectively bridge the gap between commercial investment and premium brand experiences for owners and capital partners alike.

Looking Ahead

With Littman at the helm of its EMEA development pipeline, Langham Hospitality Group is well-poised to further elevate its international footprint. His focus on creating meaningful value through strategic growth will be essential as the group continues to curate unique, culture-led experiences for the modern traveller.
