Newborn Prince Alexander made his very first public appearance alongside proud parents Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia. Catching a fleeting yet memorable glimpse of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia amidst the cheering throngs transformed this maiden Nordic journey into an unforgettable core memory.
Uppsala, Omma and Fika Traditions
Venturing beyond the capital on a seamless train journey led me north to historic Uppsala for a cherished personal tradition. Embracing the quintessentially Swedish art of fika took on profound emotional meaning when visiting mommo. Her legendary homemade rhubarb cake delivered an explosion of tart sweetness that remains utterly peerless.
