First Impression

My first impression upon entering Summer Pavilion in Singapore was absolutely captivating! The immediate sight of numerous awards affirmed its status as a modern Cantonese culinary powerhouse. This restaurant has impressively earned a Michelin star for its eighth consecutive year, a testament to its authentic Cantonese cuisine served in a truly sophisticated setting. The Chinese garden-inspired ambiance, complete with exquisite hand-painted tableware, six private dining rooms, and a curated selection of specialty teas from Tea Bone Zen Mind, creates an incredibly elegant and immersive dining experience. It’s clear that every detail contributes to its renowned excellence for both lunch and dinner.

Stefano's Verdict

My recent visit to Summer Pavilion in Singapore was an absolutely captivating 5-star experience. From the moment I stepped in, the elegant Chinese garden-inspired setting, complete with exquisite hand-painted tableware, affirmed its status as a top-tier modern Cantonese culinary powerhouse.

I indulged in the excellent signature lunch menu, which was nothing short of brilliant. The restaurant’s consistent Michelin star for its eighth consecutive year is truly well-deserved, a testament to the authentic Cantonese cuisine served with such sophistication.

Highlight: While every dish was a delight, several truly stood out.
The
Assorted Dim Sum was a masterful start, showcasing delicate flavors and expert craftsmanship.

The Marinated Smoked Duck with Chinese Tea Leaves offered a unique and aromatic twist, while the Poached Rice with Canadian Lobster was a comforting yet luxurious highlight, brimming with fresh seafood essence.

Concluding the meal, the Chilled Yam Paste with Vanilla Ice Cream provided a perfectly balanced and refreshing sweet finish.

A special mention must go to Chef Cheung Siu Kong himself – he is truly such a star! His culinary vision and execution are evident in every dish, elevating the entire dining experience.
