Upon arriving at Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin, my first impression was one of awe and elegance. The hotel’s exterior is grand, with its iconic green copper roof and impressive neoclassical architecture that exudes a sense of history. Stepping inside, the luxurious interiors immediately stood out — classic yet modern, with a timeless charm. The lobby is spacious, adorned with eponymous Elephant Fountain and rich detailing, creating an air of opulence without feeling overwhelming.
The location is also perfect, right next to Brandenburg Gate, offering easy access to many of Berlin’s top attractions. The hotel feels like a haven of luxury amidst the vibrant city. My first impression was nothing short of exceptional. Hotel Adlon Kempinski truly lives up to its renowned reputation.

From the moment arrived at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin, it’s like step into Holiday Magic, my check-in surrounded by stunning Christmas décor.
The Brandenburg Gate Deluxe Suite was an absolute dream, spacious, elegant, and offering an unparalleled view of the iconic Brandenburg Gate.
Waking up every morning to that breathtaking sight, accompanied by a delicious breakfast and a glass of champagne, was the perfect start to each day.
The highlight of this stay was undoubtedly culinary experience including the 2-Michelin-starred dining experience at Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer.
The hotel’s luxury wellness offerings are equally exceptional. The Spa Suite at Adlon Spa by Ressense, with its private sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi, was the ultimate sanctuary for relaxation. Spent hours unwinding and recharging, enjoying the utmost privacy and luxury.
The Adlon Champagne Brunch at Brasserie Quarré was another memorable experience. The selection of gourmet dishes, paired with champagne, made for an indulgent yet refined brunch.
And ofcourse being Londoners we do all need afternoon tea, don’t we? Yes – the Adlon Afternoon Tea at Bel Etage was a charming experience. The setting was elegant, the tea selection was extraordinary, and the pastries were out of this world!
Overall, my stay at Hotel Adlon Kempinski was a festive experience like no other. The combination of luxury, world-class service, and holiday magic made it the perfect place to celebrate the season. Under leadership of Karina Ansos, the first woman ever to head the historic hotel – the service is truly impeccable. Personally, can’t wait to return and create more unforgettable memories! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a truly lavish holiday getaway!
