DESIGN & SUSTAINABILITY
Designed by world-renowned architects WOHA, PARKROYAL on Pickering is a ‘hotel-in-a-garden’ concept featuring over 15,000 square metres of lush gardens, waterfalls and planter walls, which constitutes more than twice the hotel’s total land area. The tactile undulating building design, inspired by the rice-paddy fields of Bali, features Singapore’s first zero-energy sky gardens powered by solar energy cells and features a diverse variety of over 10 flora species. The comprehensive energy and water conservation features include light, rain and motion sensors, as well as the use of rain harvesting and NEWater (recycled water). Stunning natural materials and textures have been used throughout the design of the hotel, including light and dark wood, pebbles, water, green ‘moss’ carpets and glass.

Room categories include Superior (154 rooms), Deluxe (84 rooms), Premier (21 rooms), Junior Suite (21 rooms), Orchid Club (40 rooms), Club Deluxe (36 rooms), Club Premier (3 rooms), Club Junior Suite (3 rooms), Club Executive (4 rooms) and the Presidential Suite. Dependent on category, rooms may feature King or Twin sized beds, rainshowers, Nespresso coffee machine and separate living room area.
