The truffle potato gratin was a decadent treat, and the asparagus added a fresh, crisp element. The truffle jus tied everything together, creating a symphony of flavors. The 5 x 11 m pool on floor 5 with a depth of 1.34 m is surrounded by a modern ambience and furniture. The pleasant water temperature is kept at 28°C (82.4°F) the whole year. A blue-tile mirror with the Taschenbergpalais logo is shown on the bottom of the pool, as one of the new design elements. Bright and precious lounge suites invite you to relax on the right and left of the pool.

The newly redesigned sauna area impresses with timeless and calming equipment and unique baroque design elements that reflect the Dresden cityscape. The two Finnish saunas inspire with special eye-catchers, such as a copper kettle for aroma infusions, an oversized clock by C.H. Wolf/Glashütte that is embedded in the ceiling of the sauna, or the famous mural “Fürstenzug”.  The steam bath and the infrared cabin warm and relax the body in a healing way and round off the wellness offer.
