As soon as I entered into the Mandarin Oriental Lutetia Paris felt like entering a hushed world of elegance. The lobby, with its art deco details and subtle lighting, exuded a sophisticated charm.  A gentle buzz of conversation mingled with the soft clinking of glasses from the bar, creating an atmosphere that was both lively and refined.  The staff, impeccably dressed and effortlessly polite, offered a warm welcome.  Even the air seemed to carry a hint of history, a whisper of the countless stories held within those walls.  My first impression? The MO Lutetia wasn’t just a hotel; it was an experience, a journey into the heart of Parisian luxury.

Indeed, it remains a true stalwart of the Left Bank dining scene. When one is exploring the heart of Saint-Germain, a visit to Brasserie Lutetia is not merely a meal; it is an experience in its own right.

Furthermore, the setting perfectly mirrors the hotel’s rich Art Deco heritage. Le Saint-Germain

Stepping into Le Saint-Germain, nestled within the illustrious Hotel Lutetia, feels like finding a sanctuary in the heart of Paris. Upon your arrival, you are immediately greeted by the mesmerising sight of the painted glass canopy, a masterpiece by the artist Fabrice Hyber. Consequently, the salon is bathed in a soft, ethereal light that illuminates the space beautifully. This sprawling salon serves as an exquisite backdrop for an afternoon respite. Moreover, the atmosphere is delightfully unfussy, making it an ideal casual meeting ground for both locals and discerning travellers alike. Indeed, it is rare to find a space that feels so effortlessly grand yet remarkably approachable.

Whether you are seeking a moment of solitude or a catch-up with friends, the menu caters to every whim. Throughout the day, the salon offers a curated selection of refreshments perfectly suited for any hour. Naturally, the true highlights of the afternoon are the signature beverages. You might choose to indulge in a traditional Tea Time, or perhaps savour a robust coffee. Alternatively, for those craving something richer, the decadent hot chocolate is nothing short of perfection. Therefore, taking an afternoon break here is not just about sustenance; it is about embracing the Parisian art of living. Ultimately, Le Saint-Germain provides the quintessential setting to pause, reflect, and enjoy the finer things in life.

Le Bar Joséphine

Bar Josephine

Stepping into Bar Joséphine is akin to entering an elegant dreamscape. Named in honour of the legendary patron Josephine Baker, this iconic space pays homage to its history with stunning floor-to-ceiling frescos. Moreover, the clever design elements introduced by Jean-Michel Wilmotte seamlessly blend Art Deco heritage with contemporary luxury. Indeed, as you find yourself gazing up at the towering ceiling, it is remarkably easy to lose track of time. Whether you are seeking a quiet moment of introspection or a sophisticated evening with friends, this bar offers an unparalleled atmosphere. Consequently, it stands as a true destination within Paris, providing a rhythmically inspired setting where the architecture is as intoxicating as the drinks themselves.

At the heart of this cocktail sanctuary lies the artistic vision of Head Bartender Angelo Forte. Originally from Formia, Italy, Angelo honed his craft through formative experiences in Rome and London before finding his home in Paris. Currently, as the maestro of mixology, he oversees the hotel’s cocktail repertoire with a storyteller’s precision. Furthermore, he masterfully balances timeless classics with daring, unexpected creations. Each concoction serves as a work of art, reflecting a journey of global inspiration. Thus, every guest is invited to embark on a unique sensory adventure. Ultimately, Angelo ensures that a visit to Bar Joséphine is more than just a drink; it is an unforgettable chapter in your Parisian story.
