First Impression

Stefano Malachi at Brooklands by Claude Bosi

Stepping into Brooklands by Claude Bosi was like entering a realm where culinary artistry met historical grandeur. The name itself, evoking the legendary British racetrack, immediately set a tone of prestige and adventure. Perched on the eighth-floor rooftop of The Peninsula London, the space offered a breathtaking panorama of the city, a visual feast that rivaled the gastronomic one to come.

The atmosphere was electric, yet refined. The buzz of conversation mingled with the clinking of glasses, creating a vibrant energy. The anticipation for Claude Bosi’s culinary journey was palpable. This wasn’t merely a meal; it was an immersion into a world of exquisite flavours and historical charm, all framed by the glittering London skyline. The initial impression was one of utter enchantment, a promise of an unforgettable evening.

BROOKLANDS EPICURE MENU

Stefano's Verdict

My sunset dining experience with the EPICURE Menu at Brooklands by Claude Bosi was a masterclass in gastronomic excellence. It was a seamless journey from start to finish that left me utterly captivated. This two Michelin starred establishment, perched high above London skyline, delivered an experience that becomes a memorable performance of culinary artistry.

Selecting just three highlights from such a flawless EPICURE menu proved a delightful challenge.

  • The White Asparagus dish was a revelation, a delicate dance of sweetness, earthiness, and salinity that showcased the beauty of simplicity.
  • The Cornish Cod, with its vibrant turnip tops and parsley sabayon, was a testament to the kitchen’s ability to elevate classic ingredients to new heights.
  • Finally, the Brittany Pigeon, with its intriguing tamarind and juniper notes, was a bold and masterful creation.

Beyond the exquisite cuisine, the service was impeccable, a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to creating a harmonious dining experience. The timing of each course was impeccable, allowing us to savour every flavour and texture.

The personal touch of Executive Chef Francesco Dibenedetto, who graciously took the time to chat with us, added a layer of warmth and hospitality that elevated the entire experience. His genuine interest in our satisfaction was truly appreciated.

Without a doubt, I will return, eager to embark on another unforgettable gastronomic adventure.
